By on July 20, 2008 in 3D Models, Batteries, Electrical, Hobby

This AA Battery model was drawn in native Solidworks format. Click below to download the 3D Solidworks AA Battery model. This 3d model has been provided in multiple file formats.

This 3D AA battery model was modeled from a AA X1 1.2v Ni-MH 2400 mAh rechargeable battery, which was purchased at Fry’s Electronics. It is important to recognize that non-rechargeable alkaline AA batteries are different from Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. Ni-MH batteries are 1.2 volts and alkaline batteries are 1.5 volts. Also, AA rechargeable Ni-MH batteries are slightly larger than AA non-rechargeable alkaline batteries, so Ni-MH typically do not fit as well into electronic devices.
